This bulletin board idea is perfect for teachers who want a fun and organized way to display students’ artwork in the classroom. Creating an “Art Gallery” wall is a great way to make students feel proud of their work while also keeping the classroom colorful, neat, and welcoming.

Instead of posting artwork randomly on the wall, having a dedicated art gallery space makes the classroom look more prepared and professional. Students get excited when they see their work displayed just like in a real gallery, and it encourages them to do their best in every activity. This idea works well for any classroom theme, but it looks especially nice with a Safari or Jungle theme because the natural colors help the artwork stand out.

This display is also a good solution for teachers who want something that can be used for the whole school year. By laminating the letters, borders, and decorations, you can reuse the same materials many times without needing to make a new board every month. You only need to change the students’ artwork, which saves time and keeps the board looking clean and organized.

If you would like to make the same Art Gallery bulletin board, I prepared free printable letters, animals, and borders that you can use. These will help you set up the display faster without needing to design everything from scratch.

What you need?

• A4 paper or card stock

• Scissors

• Laminator

• Laminating film

• Glue tac / sticky tac

• Stapler or double-sided tape

• Brown kraft paper (for background)

• A3 black paper for artwork

What to prepare?

• “OUR ART GALLERY” Letters

• Animal Decorations (Safari/Jungle Theme)

• Bulletin Board Borders

• A3 Black Paper for each students artwork

Tip: Laminating the letters, animals, and borders will make them stronger and reusable for the whole year.

How to make?

1. Laminate all the letters, animals, and borders first so they will last longer.
2. Print and cut the “Our Art Gallery” letters. Cut close to the edges, leaving a small border around the letters.
3. Print and cut the borders. Prepare enough pieces to go around your bulletin board. Tape the borders together at the back to make them long.
4. Print and cut the animal decorations. Cut close to the outline to make them look neat.
5. Prepare the brown kraft paper background for the bulletin board. You can staple the paper or use double-sided tape to make the background smooth.
6. Place the A3 black papers first to measure the space for each student’s artwork. This will help you know how long your borders should be.
7. Add the borders around the board. You can use one design or mix different designs. Leave space at the top for the title.
8. Attach the “OUR ART GALLERY” letters at the top. You can place the bottom part of the letters slightly behind the border for a clean look.
9. Add the animal decorations around the board to match the Safari / Jungle theme.
10. Optional tip: You can add a clear plastic cover on top to protect the board, especially if you plan to use it for the whole year.
