  • Big brown carton (airplane base): approx. 120–150 cm wide × 80–100 cm tall
  • Blue & black paint (for airplane design)
  • Carton box for luggage scanner: approx. 60 cm (W) × 40 cm (H) × 40 cm (D)
  • Gray electrical tape (for detailing the scanner)
  • Nylon string (for hanging airplane & clouds)
  • White cardboard paper (for clouds)
  • A4 cardboard paper (for passports & boarding passes)
  • Reception/check-in desk (small table works perfectly)
  • Small chairs (for inside the “airplane”)
  • Toy luggage or bags
  • Stamps (for passport stamping)
  • Printed boarding passes
  • Printed student photos (for passports)
  • Markers / pens
  • Whiteboard or display board (as airplane back wall- optional) 
  • String lights (optional but adds magic )
  • Labels/signs (Check-in, Security, Boarding)

🛫 HOW TO SET UP / HOW TO PLAY

Setup:

  • Hang the airplane and clouds using nylon string to create a floating effect
  • Place chairs inside the airplane for passengers
  • Use a whiteboard as your airplane back wall
  • Set up:
    • Security checkpoint on the left
    • Check-in counter on the right
  • Prepare:
    • Passports with student photos
    • Pretend stamps
    • Boarding passes

How to Play:

Assign roles to students:

  • Pilot
  • Receptionist (check-in staff)
  • Security officer
  • Passengers

Let them rotate roles for more engagement!

Play flow:

  1. Passengers check in and receive boarding pass
  2. Go through security (scan bags!)
  3. Get passport stamped
  4. Board the airplane
  5. Pilot “flies” the plane ✈️

Encourage them to bring bags/luggage to make the experience more realistic!
